Chinese poem

 

水光潋滟晴方好，山色空蒙雨亦奇。欲把西湖比西子，淡妆浓抹总相宜

毕竟西湖六月中，风光不与四时同。
接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。

In the sunny days, the sun shines on the lake

the light in the water moves with the ripple,
it is very beautiful.

In the rainy days, the mountain becomes partly hidden and partly visible because of the falling rain.
It is beautiful, too.

I want to compare the West lake to Xi shi (a famous beauty in Chinese history); whether she wears make-up or not, she is good-looking.

And I find the West Lake is beautiful whether in sunny or rainy days.
